Online Fast
Our approach is to get your web presence online as quickly as possible, and then continue working with you to evolve your image and enhance your internet offerings. Beginning with your first request for information, we will take the time to get to know you and understand your needs, so we can work together to build the website that will best meet your goals.
Flat-Rate Pricing
Our pricing model reflects this approach, by giving you a flat, all-included price for the first “go live” version of your website. This will get you online as fast as possible, allowing you to begin building the image and community you want, while we work out an ongoing plan to incrementally add the features you desire to keep your presence vibrant.
While we cannot offer a one-size-fits-all price for your initial site, because we want to give you exactly what you want, not just a typical site, we can tell you that a site just like the one you’re looking at now, would cost approximately $5,000 and would include setting the site up on the hosting provider of your choice. If you prefer to let us administer your hosting arrangement, we offer discounted hosting services as well.
Ongoing Enhancements
Even though your initial flat-rate quote will preclude any additional changes to the site design we originally agree upon, we will continue to discuss whatever additional features and enhancements that you might imagine, while we are constructing your site. We will keep track of all these changes, and once the first version of your site goes live to the world, we will start the conversation with you about what it will take to begin making the changes you want.
Our desire is to nurture a long-term relationship with you, so we offer a regular development plan that will let you easily manage your budget for changes to the website. Depending on the complexity of your needs, the monthly cost for this plan will vary, but typically a site such as our own will cost about $50 per month to maintain, and includes two free hours of our time. Plus, as a monthly plan member, you are eligible for a discounted rate on hosting services.
Of course, if you prefer to pay as you go, you may hire us for any custom work at our normal hourly rate of $100 per hour.
Hosting Service
We currently resell the hosting services of WebHost4Life, a company that we’ve been doing business with for over five years, with great satisfaction. Our policy is to offer a fair service for a fair price, so you are free to browse their site and see the reseller plan they offer here. We currently qualify for their 20% commission, and we will split that with you, if you choose to host your site with us through WebHost4Life, giving you a 10% discount on their hosting service, plus you get the added benefit of our experience working with them, to get future issues resolved.
If you prefer to host the site elsewhere, you may choose to hire us to administer it for you (at 50% of our normal development rate) or you may simply take control of your site, and hire us on an as-needed basis (at our regular hourly rate) to resolve any issues that may arise. We want you to have the freedom to leverage our expertise as well as balance your budget!
Charitable Organizations
If you are a non-profit organization, we offer significant discounts. We do not use the Internal Revenue Service’s 501(c)3 regulations to determine whether you qualify for our non-profit discount, so even if Uncle Sam isn’t giving you a break, let us know what you’re all about, and we’ll see what we can do to help you. (Any discounts we offer, for charitable organizations, will be applied to all charges for TBWD services; charges for third-party services, such as the hosting provider, will be excluded from this discount.) If you need to spread your costs over time, be sure to mention that as we might be able to work out a payment plan for you, as well.
